Create coordinated intake and referral system

  • Improve cross-program referrals through improved information sharing and processes.
    • Outcome: Families can access home visiting services that meet their specific needs more quickly; decreased enrollment disparities.
  • Provide social support and connect families to information about home visiting and early childhood resources through community gatherings with parents and home visitors.
    • Outcome: Increased parental sense of belonging; Increased knowledge about home visiting and other community services.

Recruit, retain and support a qualified home visitation workforce

  • Enhance home visitor professional development and cross-program learning through shared training and learning spaces for inter-program problem solving.
    • Outcome: Increased recruitment and retention of home visitor workforce; Increased knowledge, skill and problem solving; Increased sense of belonging; Early childhood professionals are supported, developed, and sustained in a thriving workplace.
