Comenzar a nuestros hijos con el pie derecho con la comida puede prepararlos para que tomen sus propias decisiones saludables durante toda su vida. Estos son algunos de mis consejos y recursos favoritos para ayudar a los ni\u00f1os peque\u00f1os a prosperar con la comida:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><b>No existe tal cosa como \u201calimentos para ni\u00f1os\u201d.<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201d Los men\u00fas para ni\u00f1os nos hacen creer que nuestros hijos solo comer\u00e1n macarrones con queso, nuggets de pollo y hamburguesas con queso. Si los padres creen esto, \u00a1tambi\u00e9n lo har\u00e1n nuestros hijos! Los ni\u00f1os pueden comer los mismos alimentos que nosotros, especialmente si comenzamos a ofrecerles una variedad de alimentos a una edad temprana. No sea un cocinero de comida r\u00e1pida y haga que sus hijos se separen las comidas. Las comidas familiares son m\u00e1s f\u00e1ciles para todos y les recuerdan a nuestros hijos que experimentar con nuevos alimentos es una actividad familiar divertida.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><b>Sigue la divisi\u00f3n de responsabilidad<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. Siempre es decisi\u00f3n de su hijo decidir SI quiere comer y CU\u00c1NTO. Siempre es su decisi\u00f3n CU\u00c1NDO se ofrece la comida y QU\u00c9 est\u00e1 ofreciendo. Cuando obligamos a nuestros hijos a comer y terminar su plato, les estamos diciendo desde peque\u00f1os que no deben escuchar sus se\u00f1ales de hambre y saciedad, y les estamos ense\u00f1ando a comer en exceso. Los ni\u00f1os se dan cuenta r\u00e1pidamente de este entorno de alta presi\u00f3n y, a menudo, se niegan a comer por completo.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><b>Haga de las comidas una experiencia tranquila, relajante y de apoyo.<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. Ofrezca opciones, pero no presione a sus hijos a comer de todo. Hable sobre cosas divertidas y felices para ayudar a su hijo a desarrollar actitudes saludables en torno a la comida. Hable con frases neutras en lugar de frases apremiantes, diciendo cosas como &quot;\u00a1estos r\u00e1banos est\u00e1n crujientes!&quot; en lugar de &quot;tienes que comer eso antes de poder levantarte de la mesa&quot;.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><b>Hable con su hijo sobre los sentimientos en torno a la comida.<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. \u00bfQu\u00e9 se siente tener hambre? \u00bfQu\u00e9 se siente estar lleno? \u00bfC\u00f3mo te hace sentir eso emocionalmente? \u00bfTus sentimientos cambian seg\u00fan el lugar donde comemos?\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><b>No ofrezcas dulces como recompensa.<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. Cuando ofrecemos una galleta para comer sus verduras, ense\u00f1amos a los ni\u00f1os a ver los dulces como buenos y las verduras como malas. Haga que todos los alimentos sean neutrales y divertidos.
